Oblivion

This blog is dying. Can't seem to be able to find enough time or chances to rant and post my musings anymore these days it looks. Can't seem to be able to find any plausible reason(s) why either. Whether my brain is too tired to do any serious thinking on what to post, or my hands are just too tired to carry on typing, either way there's just no way yours truly is doing any productive posting anymore. I suppose the inevitable is going to happen. Exactly like all my other previous blogs before, this one is about to turn supernova in, let's just say, the not-so-distant future from now. Well, best I start picking up all the broken pieces of my life and bury my existence in the space and time continuum there is.

The Suffering

How long am I gonna blog from the Internet Cafe?? I'm thinking of just going for the wi-fi ready (and free) places like, um, Starbucks... Well, problem is, me don't have a laptop or any small portable computer to begin with! A real shaaaaame!!

Sigh!

When I first had my very own internet connection (that was like, 2 years ago today), I actually dared to think that it was gonna last forever. Just a couple of days back, I found that I had to literally kill it due to financial problems -- too many bills to pay and whatnot (sigh, siiigh...!!). Now I'm back to blogging albeit doing it via public computer. And boy is it such a draaag! Talk about the peeping eyes of the guy sitting next to me. Ugh!

Wish this will just be a temporary thing.

Sooo Sick...

And it's getting worse by the minute. I'm surprised I even had the strength to get outta bed and actually blog about it. The significance...?

It's Nothing Personal

...but supposedly, beggars (forgive me for using such harsh term) can't be choosers, yes?

Rrrriiight!!

I had an unfortunate encounter with one this afternoon somewhere on the streets of KK. I say 'unfortunate' because I practically gave the guy RM5 out of the pure intention of wanting to help the poor fella, and guess what he said to me?

"That's ALL? Look, I've got 8 kids to feed..." and loooads of other BS.

I noticed in the corner of my eye a young couple chuckling as they passed us by. Hmph! The nerve some people have thinking the whole...drama as funny.

I don't exactly have deep pockets or a bulging bank account FYI, but I do occasionally give to the needy what I could afford to should I happen to bump into them by chance. Except that just this one time, I felt as if I really played the part of the fool being Mr. Nice Guy.

Perhaps next time I should demand to see their ID and begging permit first before deciding to give alms.

The rain's gone...

For now, that is. I suppose I can stop worrying about getting my feet all wet and muddy when I go walking out in my backyard.

Forget that.
The ground's not all that dry yet it seems. Puddles are pretty much everywhere to be seen still. Guess those big, ugly rubber boots'll stay in fashion for a couple more days. On the flip side however, the sky is getting sunnier by the day, and that, I can look forward to experiencing all the way til year's end.

Hopefully.

Then the rain'll come back bringing along all its gifts of flood and mayhem for us...again. Welcome to Kota Marudu, North Borneo, and...did I mention that the weather here is just plain crazy?
